Waterfall

Your love is like a river;
its current's long and deep,
and sometimes, it is rocky,
and the waterfalls are steep,
but as I ride this river,
I'll lay my head to sleep
'cause I know You're watching over me
until the day we meet.

I'll be waiting here where water falls,
and I'll be listening when you call.
I wait for the day in My arms you'll fall,
as I stand beneath our waterfall.

Sometimes, I feel like I could drown;
this current's going round and round,
and I can't see or touch the ground;
it's feet and yards and stories far down,
and the thunder, lightning, oh, the sound!
I feel like I'll never be found,
but I know You're still around,
and You'll lift me up if I start to drown.

I'll be waiting here where water falls,
and I'll be listening when you call.
I wait for the day in My arms you will fall,
as I stand beneath our waterfall.

I don't think there's been a poem of yours that I didn't like. Keep it up!
